Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

Amazon is seeking for Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our site in Horsley Park, Sydney. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll keep our site operating safely and efficiently by maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, automated packaging, and distribution machinery. You’ll respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and implement long-term improvements to reduce downtime. We are hiring permanent day shift positions. Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10-hour shifts x 4 days and one day working during the weekend. These roles are entitled to annual leave and penalty rates where applicable. Learn more about Amazon RME in Australia Key job responsibilities - Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site. - Put health safety best practices first in all work carried out. - React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue. - Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager. - Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers. - Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
