Our Data Services team consists of collaborative, inclusive, and creative individuals. We develop cloud-native services with high reliability and massive scale on top of Akamai Cloud (formerly Linode) the most distributed and closest to the edge cloud platform in the world.

As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open to students and graduates.

Partner with the best

You will work at the heart of the Internet building and operating systems gathering telemetry from the Akamai distributed platform. You will join other software engineers in a cross-functional scrum team that owns the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of core monitoring services and products used by thousands of internal and external Akamai customers.

As a QA Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Refactoring and modernizing automation test cases
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines to improve test monitoring and analysis
• Collaborating with developers and QA to confidently deliver high quality products
• Maintaining, enhance, and develop test tools and automation frameworks.
• Investigating and analyze root causes of technical issues/performance bottlenecks.

Our 6-month intern program starts in July. The program requires you to be available 40 hours per week during summer months (July-September). We offer the opportunity to work part-time during the academic year (October-December).

This is a flexible role and may be performed at your home and/or the local Akamai office (in the country advertised). We are happy to discuss working options in this role and encourage you to speak with your recruiter in more details when you apply.
