Job description

from Affirm careers

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team plays a pivotal role in Affirm’s mission to build direct, lasting relationships with our customers. Our App and Card experiences empower people with modern, transparent ways to pay and manage their finances—building trust and confidence along the way.

We’re at a critical inflection point in Affirm’s journey, with millions of people engaging with our products and new opportunities to expand how they use Affirm every day. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll partner closely with a cross-functional team to shape end-to-end experiences, deliver high-quality outcomes, and evolve how people interact with their money.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end design for key initiatives within a product area—from discovery through delivery and iteration—driving meaningful customer and business outcomes.
  • Own complex flows and ambiguous problem spaces, defining clear problem statements, success metrics, and design direction.

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and data to make informed trade-offs and deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences.

  • Balance speed and quality, making pragmatic decisions while contributing to a cohesive product experience.

  • Use research, data, and experimentation to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes.
