Software Development Engineer 5, Enterprise GenAI

The Opportunity  

Are you enthusiastic about exploring new frontiers in AI powered experiences? The Gen AI Experience team is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (P50) to help build the next generation of AI-first products. You will combine strong backend engineering skills with a good understanding of AI/ML techniques, enabling seamless integration of AI systems into scalable, production-ready experiences. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and applied AI, with a heavy focus on integrating with (and creating) AI driven services.

Key Responsibilities  

• Design and implement AI-centric backend and mid-tier services in a distributed services environment.

• Integrate and build systems and models crafted by our machine learning and data science teams.

• Architect high-performance, low-latency, and fault-tolerant software solutions.

• Build and maintain microservices that integrate AI features into end-to-end workflows. 

• Work directly with AI APIs, prompt engineering techniques, and orchestration layers to bring intelligence into Adobe’s products.
