What you'll Do
- Lead the build and architecture of backend services and AI-powered systems for AJO.
- Transform open-ended product requirements into clear technical builds.
- Build and operate MCP servers and AI model integrations.
- Ensure AI features are reliable and performant in production.
- Contribute to core backend services, improving code quality and maintainability.
- Mentor team members and lead technical discussions.
What you need to succeed
- Several years of experience in crafting and operating production backend systems.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, API build, and performance.
- Proficiency in a modern backend language and cloud-native services.
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI services into production software.
- Hands-on use of coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
- Effective communication skills across various teams and collaborators.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience with AI orchestration patterns and event-driven architectures.
