We are looking for a dedicated and versatile CS-1 to join our Acrobat Mobile Team. Our team is an upbeat, collaborative and agile software development group passionate about delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions. As part of this dynamic environment, you will take pride in crafting and building end-to-end solutions that delight our users and meet business goals.
What you'll Do
In the role of Computer Scientist, you will lead the vision for PDF workflows on Android. You will outline product features, compose system architecture, and follow established methods to guide our strategy and ensure product quality. The preferred candidate adapts easily to an agile environment, is passionate about mobile innovation, and has a proven record of delivering new features and products. You should have a strong foundation in Computer Science, mobile technologies, and experience in developing customer-facing mobile applications. Your technical ability should allow you to invent and construct reliable, scalable, and high-performance products.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science / IT with a minimum of 5+ years of Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools
- Skilled at debugging issues across multiple systems or domains
- Proven expertise in architecture and in composing robust, innovative mobile applications
- Experience working with large codebases and comfort writing and debugging multi-threaded and asynchronous code in Android and native Java/C++ libraries
- Strong understanding of mobile resource constraints and ability to implement efficient solutions considering CPU, memory, and battery life
- Ability to invent new features, influence architecture and solution composition, and contribute at the feature level
- Encourages and motivates others to develop creativity and innovation
- Actively seeks out and learns new technologies and techniques, and advocates for their adoption
- Regularly shares knowledge with peers within and beyond the team
- Mentors junior team members
