The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who combines deep front-end expertise with solid backend proficiency, a sharp product attitude, and a passion for engineering excellence. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, high-performance web experiences that operate at a global level.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product thinking, technical depth, and proactive ownership — someone who doesn’t just implement requirements, but actively improves systems, experiences, and processes!
What you'll do
- Design, build, and continuously evolve high-quality, performant, and accessible web applications, scalable backend services and APIs that operate reliably
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex features — from ideation and technical design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to translate business strategy into robust technical solutions.
- Champion engineering excellence: code quality, observability, performance optimization, reliability, and security.
- Identify technical debt and proactively drive improvements in architecture, tooling, and developer experience.
- Mentor peers and contribute to raising the technical bar across the team.
What you need to succeed
Technical Depth
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale web applications.
- Expert-level experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
- Solid production experience in backend development with Node.js, and practical working knowledge of PHP-based systems.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Proven experience working with cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architectures, distributed systems, and/or serverless patterns.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and performance tuning in production systems.
Software Engineering Fundamentals
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, modular design, and clean architecture.
- Practical experience applying design patterns and building scalable, maintainable systems.
- Ability to reason about trade-offs across scalability, reliability and performance
- Commitment to writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
AI-Augmented Engineering Expectations
We expect senior engineers to operate at the frontier of modern development practices.
- Treat AI as a force-multiplier. You understand when to trust an agent, when to stay in the loop, and how to build systems that remain safe and auditable.
- Actively use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) as core engineering tools for full-feature implementation, code review and refactoring, architecture exploration, test generation, debugging support
