Information Systems Engineer 4

SAP SD / S4HANA Logistics Implementation and Configuration:

o Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP SD/Logistics modules

o Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and configure the SAP system accordingly to meet business needs.

o Oversee integration between SAP SD/LOGISTICS and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, RAR, FSCM and external systems).

2. Team Leadership:

o Lead and mentor a team of SAP SD/Logistics consultants and non SAP consultants.

o Coordinate and support team efforts to resolve system issues, implement improvements, and ensure timely deliverables

o Provide guidance on best practices and solutions to complex issues.

3. System Maintenance and Support:

o Monitor and maintain the integrity of the SAP systems and applications.

o Provide ongoing system support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

o Ensure system enhancements and changes align with business goals and objectives.

o Participate period, Quarter and year end closures

4. Process Optimization:

o Work closely with business process owners to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP SD/LOGISTICS processes are integrated and optimized across the organization.

o Support end-users by providing training, documentation, and troubleshooting assistance.

5. Project Management:

o Lead or participate in SAP SD/LOGISTICS - related tasks & metrics

o Ensure that KPIs are met and deliverables are achieved on time and with good CSAT.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Liaise with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose SAP-based solutions.

o Communicate regularly with management regarding project status, issues, and progress.

o Support the implementation of SAP SD/LOGISTICS best practices across the organization.

o Maintain healthy relations with business, internal & external teams.

7. Compliance and Reporting:

o Ensure compliance with audit regulations and internal controls.

o Work closely with team in preparing audit related documentation and reports.

o Ensure that SAP SD/LOGISTICS processes are aligned with corporate governance standards while delivering solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Education: Masters or Bachelor’s degree in in relevant domain. Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS) are a plus.

· Experience:

o Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS with at least 3-4 years in a lead role.

o Strong understanding of business processes and SAP integration with other modules (MM, FICO, & 3rd party system, etc.).

o Proven experience in leading SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS implementations and/or Support projects.

o Experience in managing a team of SAP consultants and/or non SAP consultants

o settings, report generation, and troubleshooting.

o Debug knowledge is an added advantage.

· Technical Skills:

o In-depth knowledge of SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS configuration and functionalities.

o Experience with SAP Fiori, RAR, EDI, Group reporting or other reporting tools is must.

o Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

· Project Management:

o Proven experience in managing and delivering SAP projects.

o Familiarity with project management methodologies

· Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

o Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

o Leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

o Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong SAP S/4HANA experience.

· Experience with global SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS implementations or support across multiple regions.

· Exposure to industry-specific SAP SD/ S4HANA LOGISTICS solutions (e.g., manufacturing, retail, services etc.,).
