The Opportunity
Adobe Design seeks a Senior User Experience Designer based in Noida to guide the ongoing improvement and care of our user experience systems. You will work alongside our distributed team and members from product, brand, engineering, marketing, and vendors to develop unified, on‑brand user experiences. This role ensures consistent experiences across every platform. It is essential for reinforcing our user experience systems and increasing feature adoption through better user knowledge and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and support: Provide day-to-day guidance and build support to content designers, collaborating closely with global managers to deliver unified, high-quality assets.
- Develop the visual system: Interpret product functionality into clear, elegant visual assets that are accessible and globally resonant.
- Own asset creation: Build, export, and optimize visuals in multiple formats, resolving technical challenges and minimizing rework.
- Set standards: Develop guidelines and procedures for asset creation, handoff, and onboarding in a distributed team.
- Champion alignment: Collaborate with product, brand, engineering, and localization to keep the visual system consistent and scalable.
- Streamline localization: Support efficient workflows for multi-language asset delivery.
- Stay current: Keep informed about the latest trends in building visuals and proactively suggest updates to evolve our visual system.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in user experience development, with a strong portfolio showcasing built systems and high-impact visuals.
- Tools & craft: Proficiency with Figma and Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); strong motion storyboarding and animation fundamentals.
- Systems thinking: Ability to extend visual language while ensuring consistency; comfort crafting for responsive breakpoints.
- Production excellence: Proficiency in asset pipelines and handoff for engineering; proven ability to reduce re-export churn.
- Localization savvy (Preferred): Experience with multi-locale exports; ability to balance production demands with build priorities.
- Collaboration & communication: Ability to communicate build decisions to cross-functional collaborators and rally teams around a creative vision.
- Leadership behaviors: A proactive approach with a high standard for detail, clarity, and visual storytelling.
