AI Summary
Operations Manager owns the end-to-end operational engine for Adobe's Private Capital division, managing cross-functional programs, program management frameworks, KPIs/OKRs, and resource allocation across global teams. Requires master-level program/operations management expertise with enterprise transformation or go-to-market experience in matrixed global environments.

The Opportunity

Adobe is driving strategic growth with global Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Sovereign Wealth (SWF) firms through its new go to market – Adobe Private Capital (APC).

We are investing in world-class operations talent with a proven track record of orchestrating complex, cross-functional programs in highly matrixed global organisations. Individuals with a start-up mentality – curiosity, rigour, and a drive for operational excellence – will thrive in this role.

As the APC Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end operational engine of the APC team, governing all internal processes between Account Directors, Analysts, Regional Sales, Product, Marketing, Services, and Finance teams. Acting as the central nervous system of APC, you will set and maintain dedicated focus on priorities, facilitate seamless communication, enforce delivery excellence, and ensure the team consistently delivers what it commits to—on time, every time.

What you’ll do

  • Design, document, and continuously optimise APC operating rhythms—including weekly pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, monthly priority alignment sessions, and cross-functional syncs with Adobe global teams.

  • Establish and govern a unified APC program management framework, integrating tools (Workfront, Salesforce, D365, etc.) to provide real-time visibility into commitments, milestones, risks, and dependencies.

  • Act as the single source of truth for APC delivery commitments, tracking progress against value hypotheses, business cases, and joint governance models with PE/VC/SWF clients.

  • Facilitate high-velocity decision-making by preparing concise, data-backed briefing packs, risk/mitigation summaries, and escalation pathways for APC leadership and regional executives.

  • Drive resource allocation and capacity planning across the global APC team, aligning effort with strategic priority portfolio companies and revenue impact.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution with Adobe Customer Experience Orchestration, Creativity & Productivity, Professional Services, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to eliminate bottlenecks and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Implement and monitor APC KPIs and OKRs; pipeline velocity, win rates, value realisation velocity - delivering monthly performance dashboards to leadership.

  • Lead post-engagement retrospectives to capture lessons learned, refine playbooks, and institutionalise best practices across the APC global team.

  • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and relentless execution within APC, ensuring every commitment is SMART, tracked, and delivered.

What you need to succeed

Successful engagement will be defined by short-term pipeline generation, medium term value creation for the PE firm through its portfolio, leading to long term retention and growth:

  • Strong Master-level program and operations management skills, with experience running enterprise transformation or go-to-market programs in matrixed, global environments.

  • Deep expertise in PMO governance, workflow design, and delivery assurance—certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe) highly regarded.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across senior sales, technical, product, marketing and finance leaders.

  • Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into operational plans, OKRs, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong systems thinking and process design capability, with hands-on experience implementing enterprise tools (Salesforce, Workfront, D365, etc.).

  • Bias for simplicity, standardisation, and automation; relentless focus on reducing friction and accelerating velocity.

  • Calm under pressure, with a track record of delivering complex programs on time in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.

  • Natural facilitator; able to run high-energy, outcome-focused meetings that drive alignment and action.

  • Understanding of PE/VC/SWF operating models, value creation playbooks, and the role of technology in driving EBITDA improvements a bonus.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of validated experience as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager, or Operations Manager in Private Equity, Technology, Professional Services, or Management Consulting with a consistent track record of exceptional delivery.

  • Demonstrated success establishing PMOs or operational frameworks for new business units, go-to-market teams, or post-merger integrations.

  • Advanced proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (Workfront, MS Project, etc.).

  • Outstanding executive presence, facilitation, and written communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level and regional leadership.

  • Strong analytical horsepower—comfortable with data, metrics, and building executive dashboards (Power BI, Excel, etc.).
  • Intellectual agility and a passion for operational excellence.
