Key Responsibilities
1. Test Automation & Framework Development

• Build reusable, generic automation methods and utilities.
• Automate API tests and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Execute automated regression, sanity, and smoke suites across environments.
• Work across multiple projects that require automation development.
• Implement parallel test execution and improve execution performance.
2. Quality Assurance & Testing
• Apply strong testing fundamentals and QA best practices.
• Execute test cases, log defects, track to closure, and generate defect/QA reports.
• Perform & support different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, smoke, UAT).
• Improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks continuously.
• Ensure on-time delivery with high-quality standards.
• Lead the team to successful project deliveries.
3. Tools & Technology
• Strong hands-on experience in one programming language: Java or JavaScript.
• Expertise with automation tools such as (but not limited to) Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
• Proficient with GIT, Jenkins, Maven, TestNG, BDD frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps basics: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience using cloud device platforms such as SauceLabs, BrowserStack.
• Awareness of visual automation tools like Percy, mobile automation tools, and parallel test execution.
• Experience working with JIRA and related Agile tools.
4. Domain & Platform
• Exposure to AEM across the board is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and participate in grooming, sprint planning, and reviews.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with QA, development teams, architects, and product owners.
• Participate in demos, UAT cycles, and customer-facing discussions as needed.
• Deliver assignments independently and manage modules end-to-end.
• Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders.
6. Soft Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and mentor junior members when required.
