Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, constructing, and configuring software applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of the organization and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications developed are robust, scalable, and meet the intended objectives, while continuously refining and enhancing the software to support evolving business demands.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document design specifications and application configurations for future reference and maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Avaloq Wealth.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
- Experience in application design and configuration to meet diverse business needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Avaloq Wealth.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
